At the first Fabulous Femininities workshop Alice asked us to show and tell a 'fabulous' item of clothing. I chose my lobster headpiece, made by Ciara Monahan.

The lobster headpiece is inspired by many that came before it, like the lobster worn by Isabella Blow. Lady Gaga more recently sported a sparkle encrusted silver lobster.

It was originally bought to wear at a festival, where I ended up bumping into the maker of the headpiece...

Turns out we were dressed as lobster wearing twins that evening!
